So we're moving to California soon. Overall this is REALLY exciting and we're happy to be starting new chapter in our lives...BUT we are moving away from our family and a large portion of our friends. I know some have moved out of state already, but still... T__T
Right now we are busy all the time and I mean all of the time. We are taking all of the boxes we had in storage and have to go through them and purge or put them somewhere in the house; that way the moving company can insure our stuff. It's a huge unit...Jesus. Anyway, so there's that, several projects we have going on that we have to finish before the 19th and 20th. I'll post some cool pictures/posts about those later. They are fun but right now it's just adding to the work load and stress.
A bunch of events are going on as well, Jon's graduation from Georgia Tech, (He got his PhD! Holy crap!) Evie's holiday performance, Sylvia's birthday party, Christmas, and the biggest time suck of all but perhaps the most important: seeing friends and family before moving 2000 miles away.
Just wanted to vent a bit about the craziness of all of this organized chaos. It's fantastic and wonderful that we have so many people in our lives that mean so much to us, that we are able to do all of these things and go to these events, it's just insane. I hope that it doesn't blur too much in how quickly (and oddly slow at times) things are happening. I want to be present and not worry too much about the future. Kinda hard, but working on it.
OH! And we have help taking our two kids and two cats across the country! Thanks Aunt Peggy! OMG!
Other updates: I got a passion planner and it's amazing. Get one. Click here. It's what helps keep everything together right now and inspired me to get a bunch of other stuff organized and going.
The neighborhood, house and school we are moving into are great, love it, and the landlords rock my socks with their coolness.
Trying to adopt healthier habits by writing down a list and checking off each day that I have kept with that habit. Everything from reading more, meditating, walking, drinking more water to staying productive with my business stuffs.
Anyways, that's enough rambling for now. More updates to come!
